Any memorable stories you would like to share of your time at elc?

A highlight of the many great experiences I had in elc was representing the school at the 2006 FOBISSEA Games in Brunei. I am very proud of the numerous athletic records attained by our team which, in my opinion, put our school on the map at its debut appearance in the Games.

Did elc give you any valuable life lessons that shaped the way you conduct yourself today?

My time as a Prefect was very memorable. It was a great honour to be entrusted with the position and it certainly taught me great life lessons such as responsibility, integrity and accountability. The school motto has definitely remained with me; to achieve excellence in all my endeavours and to show loyalty and commitment even when the odds may not be in your favour.

Favourite subject, and why?

There are many subjects which I enjoyed; however, I did particularly enjoy history. I found the course material to be extremely interesting; from the French Revolution and the Great Crash of 1929, to the Bolshevik Revolution and the beginnings of modern China. History was always rich with interesting stories and valuable lessons to learn from.

Give 3 adjectives to describe how you feel about elc ?

Nostalgic, fun, friendly

Find something you are passionate about and pursue it. Be sure to try and research as much as you can so that you can go forward and make informed decisions. Always work hard for your goals and eventually with a little luck, you will achieve them.
