As part of our Literacy Day that recently took place, our Year 11 students were tasked to create an informative and entertaining piece, incorporating skills in language, information and media literacy to help a young audience explore meaning and use of language in texts, broadening vocabulary and developing appreciation of how writers choose language for effect. writer’s use language, and to explore how the features of texts relate to their purpose and audience.
