The Fine Arts Society visited the well-known Van Gogh Alive Art Exhibition, which featured many of his well-known pieces of art. The digital projections of the artist’s paintings that I saw were astounding and beautiful! I was able to hear the soundscapes as well, which gave me the impression that I was actually in his world. I, along with my fellow students, gained a deeper understanding of the artist’s work as a result of the engaging interactive displays and videos that gave us a glimpse into his life and career. It was incredibly eye-opening to learn about his feelings and the complex meanings behind the paintings. Overall, my school friends and I had a wonderful time on the Van Gogh Alive trip!
