On the 8th of April 2025, our IGCSE students had the opportunity to attend an inspiring workshop titled ‘Future-Ready Insights: Preparing for Careers That Don’t Exist Yet’ delivered by Luke Sowden from Immerse Education. The one-hour session was designed to open students’ eyes to the rapidly evolving career landscape and to equip them with the mindset and skills necessary to thrive in an uncertain future.
Through engaging micro activities and insightful discussions, students explored emerging careers shaped by technological advancements, environmental challenges and societal shifts. The session highlighted the importance of core future-ready skills such as adaptability, problem-solving, creativity and digital literacy.
Students also gained valuable perspectives on the role of innovation and the balance between human ingenuity and technology in tomorrow’s job market. The workshop concluded with a lively Q&A session, allowing students to ask questions and clear their doubts.
This session not only sparked curiosity but also encouraged students to embrace continuous learning and personal development, laying the foundation for confident, future-ready individuals.
