Year 5 students used coffee as a medium to paint. Starting with the brighter shades and progressing to the darker ones would be necessary. The best thing about painting with coffee is that you’re not only able to create beautiful pieces, but they smell nice too!

In celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival

Making and eating zongzi (粽子) with family and friends is an important element of the Dragon Boat Festival celebrations. They’re traditionally wrapped in reed and bamboo leaves to make a pyramid shape. Our students had fun making paper zongzi in celebration of the festival.
