Math Day

We celebrated Math Day last Friday. Students took a break from the standard day-to-day math lessons. Instead, they participated in competitive math-themed games where they could score points for their House.

World Book Day Contest Winners

A contest for the most creative outfit was held in conjunction with World Book Day last month. Children were encouraged to make use of materials and items at home to put their outfits together. Here are the winners. Congratulations!

A Year 7 Lab Project

The Year 7 students had a great time making liquids that were rainbow-coloured in test tubes. They used a Neutralisation reaction to create a series of liquids with different pH levels.

First Aid Training

Eight teachers participated in the First Aid session that was organised as a requirement for British Scouting Overseas staff. Nine additional staff members participated to learn more about First Aid. Coffee Painting (Year 3)

Year 5 students used coffee as a medium to paint. Starting with the brighter shades and progressing to the darker ones would be necessary. The best thing about painting with coffee is that you’re not only able to create beautiful pieces, but they smell nice too!

Forces and Motion (Year 3)

Year 3 students used a rubber band to make their own forcemeters to measure the amount of force exerted on an object.

New record for High Jump

Hareen broke the School record for High Jump at 1.50m. Well done!

In celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival

Making and eating zongzi (粽子) with family and friends is an important element of the Dragon Boat Festival celebrations. They’re traditionally wrapped in reed and bamboo leaves to make a pyramid shape. Our students had fun making paper zongzi in celebration of the festival.

The Earth and The Sun

The Year 2 students had a lot of fun painting and cutting out the Sun and the Earth, and explaining how the Earth revolves around the Sun and how day and night occur.
