This Week’s ECA

The BSO had a blast with a unique and creative activity that promoted teamwork, using spaghetti, marshmallows, and tape. The ECO Club added some excitement to the garden by getting their hands dirty and planting delicious tomatoes. They also created some beautiful soil art. And the Sports Team had a great time playing football!

Lion Dance 2023

Yesterday the children had fun watching a Lion Dance performance and interacting with the Lions. They then got to showcase their talents with brief performances and participate in interactive games related to the Lunar New Year.

Kayaking with Scouts and Cubs

Earlier in December, British Scouting Overseas members from both Cyberjaya and Sungai Buloh campuses took a trip to Putrajaya to kayak on the lake. After safety training, practicing capsize drills and basic technique on the swimming pool at school, Cubs and Scouts quickly took to the water and put their new skills to good use....

Let’s Cook!

BSO put on our chefs hats and cubs have learned how to cook Ugandan Rolex (Rolled eggs!). Scouts planned their own recipes, shopped, prepared and cooked a variety of delicious dishes from Mexican wraps to pancakes, noodles and elaborate sandwiches in preparation for our first camping adventure next term.

Wait a minute, Mr Postman.

Encouragement of letter writing in children will improve their communication, social, and handwriting skills. Students were asked to write letters to their friends or Santa and place them in a mailbox, which was then delivered by colourful “postmen” as part of an end-of-term activity.

This week’s extracurricular activities included making an origami five-pointed star in Life Skills, a simple toy with googly eyes, and snowmen out of air dry clay.

Adriel’s outstanding achievement in IGCSE English Literature

We are very excited to share the great news that Adriel has been selected for the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award for being “Top in Malaysia” for IGCSE English Literature in her 2022 IGCSE exams. Our heartfelt congratulations to Adriel and her IGCSE Literature teacher Ms Shoaib for this remarkable achievement.
