The Year 1 students wrapped up their fantastic History unit on ‘Washing Day’ with an exciting class activity last week! They got a chance to experience how people used to wash clothes in the past by grating soap bars and diluting them in water. With sticks in hand, they swirled their clothes into the soapy water – just like the good old days! What a fun and educational way to end the unit!
