Football CJ vs SB

Our boys were raring to go against the Sungai Buloh team earlier this month after only a few days of rest following their previous game against Oasis International School. On a drizzly morning, tackles were flying in as quickly as throw-ins. With Cyberjaya putting their pre-training corner routines into practise, they went up 1-0 in the first game. A freekick resulted in a goal, and the final score was a tie. In the second game, our boys were disrupted by two throw-ins. Sungai Buloh (SB) scored. With the progress our boys have made in the short time since their last game, we are very proud of their work ethic and attitude in being the better team.

The girls improved significantly from their previous game. They were pressing the opponent and keeping SB in their half. Taarika’s corner set up Cyberjaya’s goal, which Tara finished. Meng Cheng scored another goal from close range for us. Due to poor weather, we had to suspend the game. When returned, they kept the game moving at their pace and tempo. Unfortunately, time ran out, and they were defeated by two long-range goals. It was a performance the girls could be proud of. They gave everything they had and fought until the final whistle.

Well done, boys and girls!
