Year 2 students have been learning inferring skills in online classes. Inferring is using your own knowledge and looking for clues in a text, picture or poem. Students have been doing a lot of work on understanding poetry writing techniques. They have tried using some of these techniques to write their poems; namely, rhyming words, alliteration, patterns and repetition. This is some of the work of our young poets.
